Play Lazer Tag with your iPhone?

A story on Cult of Mac suggests that Apple might working to make iPhones work as Lazer Tag taggers.

"If Apple has its druthers, next time you play Lazer Tag, it won't be with big ray guns and fluorescent sensors, but with your iPhone," the story says.
